The First Back Filp on the Trampoline!

While Moms at work we continue to play!

Ky (4yrs old)does his first back flip on the trampoline. I did not encourge it, however I did not discourage it either.

August 19th 2008

The 19th was a pretty busy day. It was Kylar's 1st day of pre-school and it was Aubrey's Birthday. I got off work around 0230 hours, went to the grocery store got fresh fruit and Texas Toast(For French Toast). I cut up all the fruit, made her a little birthday card and went to bed.

I got back up T 0600 hours, got the older kids ready for school. While they were getting ready I went down stairs and made breakfast. Scrambled Eggs, French Toast with fresh Cherries, Bananas, Peaches, Strawberries, and of course Whip topping.

When Aubrey came down stairs for breakfast it was all ready and I had Yellow Roses, the card, and new iPOD. Aubrey really enjoys listening to Audio books and soon she'll be able to plug the iPOD into the system at the gym for her workput music. She also got a magic bullet to make shakes and a new cell phone(enV2)

Got the kids off to school then took Kylar to pre-school. He was surprisingly excited, He told me "The other boys didn't listen to the teacher, but I did!"

Aubrey and I then went to the gym for her class, no one came, so we left... Aubrey was very excited about that. She went to lunch with some friend and that night we went out for dinner. The food wasn't that great but, the company was.

Oh yea, In the middle of all that we went a pick up an entertainment center for the down stairs. With my new schedule and me trying to sleep in, we thought it better to have the TV down stairs.

I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful wife to share my life with. I was very glad she had a wonderful Birthday, she deserves it. She has had a lot of forgetable birthday's in the past.

BIRHTDAY, BIRTHDAY, BIRTHDAY!

Aug 5th was Aliya's 6th Birthday. She was pretty excited when she woke up with presents. A Baby Alive and more clothes. When she got home from school she got her first new bike, with helmet and pads. Hiedi and I even took her a happy meal for lunch. I was watching Hiedi, one of Aliya's friends, while her dad was at a training exercise. (We work together)

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, ALREADY?

Ethan's now in the Third grade and Aliya is in First grade. We are excited about the school year ahead and we have heard nothing but good things about both of thier teachers. (Ethan's Picture with his teacher didn't turn out very good :( )

Our summer Vacation

We went straight from the deserts of Arizona to the beaches of California. We started our little trip by taking a trolley ride to Laguna Beach. Everyone had a good time playing on the beach, the water was a little to violent for the kids though. As we were leaving we saw the Tsunami sign....? :)

The next day we went to Imperial Beach, the water was a little better and we were able to walk down the pier and see what the fishermen were catching, like this huge Starfish!

We visited "The Brig" (were the Marines stood guard) and some of the airplanes on board the ship.

One of our stops was a trip to the Aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Midway. It is one of the worlds most visited military museums. We were there for 4-5 hours and maybe saw half of what there was to see. The ship is docked in the San Diego harbor. It was a trip looking over the edge of the ship and seeing how far down the water actually was. We ate lunch aboard the ship and I took the opportunity to take the pic of Aliya with the Flag. Two of the things I love!
